Leonhard Bayer is Head of Treasury at Eurogrid GmbH. Eurogrid is the owner of German transmission system operator 50Hertz. The company with more than 2,000 employees, owns and manages the extra high voltage electricity grid in Eastern Germany and Hamburg with a total length of some 10,000 kilometres. Before Eurogrid, Leonhard held a leading finance position at German fibre operator Tele Columbus. After graduating from King’s College London, he started his career as an equity research analyst with Hauck & Aufhäuser Investment Bank.
