Katya Nolvall holds a position as head of sustainable capital markets at Swedbank. Katya is responsible for Swedbank’s entire “ESG off-balance offering” towards all sectors covering large and medium sized corporate clients and institutional clients. Main products within “ESG off-balance offering” include ESG bonds and commercial paper, Green Equity and ESG related direct lending. Swedbank pioneered the concept for Green Equity in 2020 – this work was led by Katya Nolvall. Afterwards, Swedbank acted as advisor to Nasdaq Nordics prior to the Nasdaq’s official launch of Green Equity concept in June 2021. Katya joined Investment Banking team at Swedbank in April 2016 and started to build up Swedbank’s Sustainable Capital Markets team in October 2017. She holds an M.A. in Accounting and Financial Management from Stockholm School of Economics.
