Andrea Dore
Andrea has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. Currently, she is the Global Head of Funding at the World Bank, managing the team responsible for raising funds globally in the capital markets to finance the World Bank’s development mandate. Her team is responsible for designing and executing the World Bank’s funding strategy in all the major currency and emerging markets raising over US$60 billion annually and executing all the derivatives related to the funding trades of over US$100 billion as well as managing the World Bank’s short term liquidity funding programs. Prior to joining World Bank, Andrea worked at the St. Lucia Development Bank, first in the accounting department and then in the projects department managing a portfolio of the bank’s development projects. Andrea is a Fulbright Scholarship recipient and a Graduate of the Harvard General Management Program. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Cape Breton University, Canada, an MA in Finance and Economics from Brandeis University, Boston and an MSc in Information and Telecommunication Systems from John Hopkins University, Washington DC. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
